Welcome to my website! Below and to the left are my webpages,
along with a little more about me! (Disclaimer)
Me & A Couple of My (Substantially Larger)
Friends in New York [Mid-2004]
My Web Pages:
Pictures This is where I keep many pictures of my friends, family,
fun events, and many more pictures of various trips, events,
and candid situations in my life.
Professional Here you can see more about my professional pursuits (including
notable academic achievments, my resume, even my personal computer
setup, and more).
Personal Here is where I store many miscellaneous entertaining things
that are more entertaining if you know me on a personal level, including
various instant message conversations, reviews of products and places
I have written, various opinions, and even political views.
Sightings Since the advent of the digital camera, I occasionally found
one nearby when I saw something strange . . . hence, this section
was born. I would like to contribute to this page more than
I have in the recent past, but there's still some entertaining
content here.
Misc. Entertainment I often get funny jokes via E-Mail, and instead of bothering
those who dislike receiving forwarded messages . . . I edit
them to make them look nice, add some funny things, etc. Then,
I put these files here, both in text
and image format.
Links Here is where I link to various sites I frequent, enjoy,
and links for pages that belong to my friends!
This page is updated
often, so please come back. This page was last updated on September
6, 2005.
*The horsepower/torque figures above in the description
of my Custom Supra page are based on the actual uncorrected dynograph
figures that were measured at the wheel with 15% driveline loss.
A Little About Me:
I was born in Colorado, but I had
moved to Texas around the age of 5. After graduating from high
school, I was fortunate enough to be able to pursue my undergraduate
education as a Longhorn at the University of Texas at Austin.
"Hook 'Em!" I studied
Computer Sciences with a Business Foundation, and I enjoyed
every minute of it . . . :-) I am now enrolled at the University
of Texas at Austin pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration
as I continue to gain more and more experience in industry.
After completing my undergraduate
work in 2003, I made the very exciting choice to work with and
help my family launch a new manufacturing company in the D/FW
area, Texas ProFab Corporation,
and grow it steadily and surely, along with numerous other business
ventures in the D/FW area. We are off to an incredible start and
experiencing phenomenal growth, and we hope this trend continues!
You can read more about my role, responsibilities, and our company
on my professional page.
I have a deep interest in business
(especially small business), including Finance, Marketing, Management,
Law, etc. I believe that every field of study should be supplemented
with a solid background in business in order to truly excel. There
are many things that excite me about the world of small business,
I love that the career paths are open & everchanging and earning
potential is uncapped. I love how every single day brings new/varied
challenges and new things to learn. I feel very fortunate to be
in the position I am in, where I get to continually develop my
business and technical skills while having a lot of fun!
On a more personal level, I am an
automotive enthusiast in every sense of the word. I love
reading about them, working on them, racing them, learning about
them, talking about them, driving them, watching them do what
they do best, etc. I love the emotion that different vehicles
incite within the driver in different situations. I also loved
riding, seeing, racing, and learning about motorcycles, but I
have given up on this dangerous hobbies after some of my friends
& peers endured and/or were lost to very tradgic experiences.
Also, something I hope to spend more
time on in the future, which I also enjoy very much, is jet skiing
and boating. This is a very fun hobby, but most of the fun
is being with friends out on the lake, etc. Likewise for
downhill snow skiing, another fun pasttime.
I love computers, in virtually every
aspect . . . hardware, software, programming, construction, their
application to business infrastructure, etc. Also, I like
keeping these web pages. I think everyone should have a
personal website!
I love animals (except cats, perhaps
'cause I am insanely allergic) . . . and I am also passionate
about the hobby of aquarium fish. I enjoy creating an environment
where fish can stay healthy, grow, breed, flourish, and enjoy
the home that I have setup for them.
I played the violin for ten years
and the piano for three before college, so I am somewhat musically
inclined, although I am not very active in either, anymore.
And, of course, I love my country
very much and am very proud to be an American. Having traveled
to many countries in the world, I am very well aware of the priveleges
and opportunities that my family and I have been afforded here
. . . and I am eternally grateful to our country's armed forces
who endure terrible hardships to provide us the freedom we are
so lucky to have here. Additionally, after traveling to various
northeastern states within our country, I also realized that I
am a very proud Texan, as well . . . and I love the great State
of Texas, too. :-)
Finally, I
love being with my friends and family, all of which have supported
me heartily in my life. The hardships and misfortune endured
earlier in my life make me continually realize how lucky and fortunate
I am, today. I realize that with friends & family is where
true happiness lies at the deepest levels, and for all the happiness
I enjoy in my life . . . I have my friends and family to thank.
Life's too short and unpredictable,
you only get one shot. Don't waste it. Work hard,
Play Hard. I try to live my life so that if it was to
end tomorrow, I'll have lived a full, happy life to the best of
my ability, no regrets.
