The MotorSport Ranch Event (9/4/99)

I put this page up so that maybe some of the viewers can imagine at least a tenth of the fun I had at this event. I am just putting links to some of the great pictures that were taken at this event with some explanations to guide you.

A bunch of Supras decided to come to this event pretty spontaneously, as did Tiem and Andi.

When we arrived, and while we were there, we saw more exotic cars and nice cars than we had ever dreamed we would see in a lifetime or at a car show, even. (Examples: Vipers of All Sorts on Full Slicks, Full Race Porsches, Ferraris, Panteras, AMG Benz's, RX7's, Lotus, 300ZX's, etc.)

1st was a Purple Porsche 911 - Full Race, Little Interior, Recaro Seats, Huge Wing, etc. A Sticker on the dash could be seen that said, "Girls Kick Ass." It was a woman driven car.

There was an NSX there, and it was handling and accelerating poorly. This car is a car that I think is a horrible investment, and performs poorly at the drag strip and the track.

There was a silver Ferrari that parked next to Tiem's Camry, it was cool.

There were a whole bunch a Vipers at this Event. There was a Green TNT 555 Serpent, a Blue and Grey GTS, a White and Blue GTS, a Red RT/10 . . . most with Full Slicks all over it - Road Race Tires.

Not only were all those other fancy cars there, but so were we. =) Before I show you racing pictures, here is us at the place enjoying ourselves. MotorSport Ranch is under construction, still, big plans are in progress. But, for now . . . a receptionist was selling T-Shirts in a Garage, and a few of us got some: 1

Now, here is some of us racing. Jordan definately stole the show here. He was incredible, as were his tires. He gave most of us rides and really pushed the limit . . . literally. All of us made some laps on the track, I believe.

Interesting Stories From The Trip

On the way there, our whole line of Supras was traveling down the highway, and a white Trans Am saw us driving by . . . he drove with us for a while, and then he started to try to pick on one of us. Turned out that out of all the cars there, he picked on Gino . . . Yep . . . The Huge Single Turbo Car that run more than 130 mph through the traps. That was pretty funny, and I am sure you can predict what happened.

Also, on the way back . . . a caravan of Supras and a Viper were driving back home, and a State Trooper saw us all, and he was heading the opposite way. When he saw us, none of us were speeding, but there was a Jeep Grand Cherokee speeding very much. A minute or so later, the State Trooper was on our side, and I moved out of the way for him, as did a few others. When he got behind Joey (red Supra), Joey pulled over to the left onto the shoulder, and the State Trooper pulled him over. Joey was given a citation for an improper lane change. I wonder what would have happened if he pulled into the right lane and let him pass by, would he have? Oh, well.
