I was born in Palembang, a city on the southern tip of the Sumatera
island in Indonesia, and lived there most of my life. After graduating
high school, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to continue
my education in the USA. I started my college education at Lexington
Community College in Lexington, KY where I studied for two semesters,
then transferred to the University of Texas and moved to the beautiful
city of Austin.
I spent 3 years in Austin working towards my dual-degree (B.S.)
in Mathematics and Computer Sciences (graduated with High Honors),
and 2 more towards my Master of Science in Computational and Applied
Mathematics. After another year in Austin working as a Game Programmer
at Multimedia Games, Inc., I moved to Carrollton, Texas (a suburb
of Dallas) to join my better half and have since been working as
a Staff Engineer at Texas ProFab Corporation.
On a personal note... Vivek and I got engaged
on 25 November 2005 during our first trip together to New York City
and two years later, on 22 September 2007, we tied the knot at St.
Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Carrollton, followed by an
elegant reception at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dallas. Check out
